Honest answer: it depends. A basic transplant starts at $750 per tree. From there, price moves with tree size, species, distance moved, soil conditions, and access. We're competitively priced across the Panhandle, and we apply bundle discounts when you do multiple trees at once. Every quote starts with a free site visit so you know exactly what you're paying before you commit.
Generally fall and early spring, when temperatures are mild and the tree can establish roots before summer heat. That said, container-grown trees can be planted nearly any time of year if watered properly. We can plant on a schedule that works for you and explain the tradeoffs.
Yes — we can remove old or dead trees as part of a planting or transplanting job. We do not grind stumps. If you need stumps ground out, we'll refer you to a trusted partner, and we can come back to plant the replacement once that's done.
Yes. If you already know what you want, we can source it for you — quality nursery stock sized for the spot, ready to plant. If you're not sure, our layout & planning service walks you through species and placement before you commit.
Deep root feeding pressurizes nutrients and water directly into the root zone — past the surface, where most fertilizer never reaches. It's especially valuable in the Texas Panhandle, where wind, drought, and clay soils stress trees. Recommended once or twice a year for established trees and any newly transplanted specimen.
Standard transplants start at 5–6 inch caliper (trunk diameter measured 6 inches above the ground). We can move specimens up to 12 inches caliper or larger, depending on the variety — some species relocate well at that size, others don't. We'll walk through what's realistic on the site visit.
We serve Amarillo, Lubbock, and the wider Texas Panhandle — including Canyon, Pampa, Borger, Dumas, Hereford, Plainview, and surrounding communities. Outside that range we can still help on larger projects with travel costs folded into the quote.
For most residential plantings on private property, no. Some HOAs or municipalities have rules about species, setbacks, or permit requirements — we'll help you check during the site visit.
Before any digging, we coordinate utility locates through the Texas 811 system so we don't hit anything underground. On-site access (gate widths, slope, overhead wires, fence removal, lawn protection) is determined on a site-by-site basis during that same visit so there are no surprises on install day.
Cash, check, or credit/debit card. For projects over $1,000, we collect a 30–50% deposit at booking and the balance on completion.
Yes — a meaningful share of our work is subcontract installs for landscape designers, design-build firms, HOAs, and property management companies. Insurance certificate available, net-30 terms by arrangement.
